American Hebrew Hypocrisy

I got this e-mail before that left me so angry, I nearly had an attack.

There are picture present (in a link) in that e-mail… Pictures from San Francisco. Some of the people who are reading this have received that e-mail from me, with the link. I can imagine you are going to be just as outraged (and disgusted) as I am.

There were a load of people in San Francisco protesting Israel… protesting Jews… protesting Zionism.

People have the right to believe as they choose. That is what I believe, and that is what I have always believed. People walking around in a US city chanting, “Long live the Infatada!” and carrying signs comparing Israel to Nazi Germany… I can imagine that bothers many of you as much as it bothers me…

But what really bothered me about the whole matter was that there was ONE man on the site of that protest who stood against those beliefs, and he was the ONLY PERSON TOLD BY POLICE TO LEAVE. The self-hating Jews and anti-Zionists were left be to snarl and protest as they wanted.

It’s lovely how far the Liberals have fallen, along with many American Jews. Hypocrisy…

I am not going to include any of those pictures here. As I said earlier, if anyone wants a copy, contact me, and I’ll get you the link.

According to those people, Israel has no right to exist‘Palestine must be freed,’ they say. ‘The Jews are monsters,’ they say, ‘…and they must be stopped from oppressing the Palestinians!’

Remarkable what those idiots choose to ignore. First of all, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PALESTINE (under the current definition)! The name ‘Palestine’ has been used since the times of the Roman Empire to refer to the area between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River. Somehow, I doubt that there are two cities named Jerusalem that both contain the clear remnants of the First Temple, no matter what the Arabs (and their Liberal supporters in this country) would have us believe.

They would say that Israel has no right to exist. That the Jews are monsters, and that the space that they hold as their nation (Israel) is not their to live on in the first place – ‘no Jew,’ they would say, ‘has the right to be present in Palestine.’

As I have said many times before, ignorance must be such sweet bliss.

To explain that, in this case, we have the PLO and the other Arab organizations in the area that seek to rid the Middle East of Israel (and the Jews). What the PLO seems not to realize is that all they are to the other Arabs is cannon fodder.

The members of the PLO who get themselves killed in suicide bombings or attacks against Israeli troops or other citizens seem to mean something to the citizens of San Francisco. What they mean, I don’t know for certain, but I know they mean a lot more than the innocent Jews who get slaughtered in the name of supposed ‘Palestinian freedom’.

Yet as disgusted as I am by the (Gentile) citizens of San Francisco, I find myself more disgusted by the Jews of the area. As far as I am concerned, in fact, they are not Jews. Perhaps their ancestors were, but they are as far as one can get from being a Jew, as I see that being defined.

BELOW ARE SOME SIGNS CARRIED BY PROTESTORS IN THAT MARCH:

“Jews are Terrorists!”

I have a question for this idiot… who was responsible for 9/11? The

IDF? NOMOSLEM TERRORISTS.

“Every ZioNAZI is a legitimate military target!”

A lovely comparison. Liberals seem to love using the term ‘Nazi’. If

you ask me, they don’t know the first thing about what a Nazi really was… and even if they did, I don’t think they would care.

“The Jewish State is a criminal entity!”

The ‘Jewish State’ (Israel) as they call it, does not support the

commission of terrorist acts, as committed against its citizens by PLO

agents in the past, and by Hamas (who were called ‘Freedom Fighers’ during this protest).

THE ONE SIGN THAT GOT ESCORTED AWAY BY THE POLICE IS BELOW:

“The resolute wickedness of HAMAS, Groveling in Villainy, Holds Us All

Hostage and Dooms the Palestinians”.

There was an extraordinary amount of screaming, flag-burning,

blocking of traffic, chanting and other such activity, but the only protestor the police halted and then ordered to leave was the man with the above sign! Their reason for telling him to leave? “for his own protection”, and that “he shouldn’t incite the crowd by expressing a reasonable opinion”.

And yet, with all the flag burning and screaming and traffic-blocking and menacing chants, can you guess who was the only protester to be stopped by police and ordered to leave? That's right -- the single anti-Hamas protester. Figures. The police's given reason, naturally, was that he should leave "for his own protection" and that “he shouldn't incite the crowd by expressing a reasonable opinion.” Nothing so enrages an unreasonable crowd as a reasonable opinion!

It’s enough to make a man sick to his stomach. They essentially just

gave anti-Zionists and anti-Semites free reign to say (and do) what they will without any way to rein them in. Meanwhile, if a Jew (or a supporter of Israel) should stand forth, I do not want to imagine what may happen to them.

I don’t want to imagine what is going to happen to the United States now, in fact. The Arabs probably have even less respect for the US (not that they really had any before…) now, and my guess would be that a whole lot of innocent people are going to get hurt, and all that our so-popular President is going to do is wag his finger at the terrorists, and then continue to tell the Israelis that they should give the Palestinians what they want.

Enjoy your delusions.

A whole lot of people are going to suffer (be they Jews or otherwise) because the Liberals (along with the anti-Semites and self-hating Jews among them) are going to force the Israelis to play ‘nice’ with the Arabs, and kowtow to the PLO and other Palestinian groups, along with the anti-Zionist nations of the Middle East. The Israelis will not be the only ones, though, and God help us all who live in this nation, because we are going to suffer by the hand of Liberal hypocrisy and their accompanying blindness.

Endgame (Written July 2008)

Joe McCain said it best. The Jews will not go quietly again. A simple statement, preceded by a well-spoken support of what the Jews are, what we have been and what (at least) some will be if it becomes necessary for Israel to fight against the Arab forces of the Middle Eastern nations. I have myself often made the statement before (many times), ‘Israel will turn Iran (and their associates) into a parking lot.’ Enough is enough, after all, and Israel has been more than willing to support the willing to support the desires of its allies in the United States of America in trying to make peace with the Arabs.
But that is not what the Arabs want. Once again a race of (irrational) intolerant, and ignorant anti-Semites is attempting to destroy Israel, and through that destruction, to destroy Judaism itself. Not all of the Jews are in Israel, though… There are Jews in the United States (for one).

Not that all of them act the part, in my opinion (at least).

Many (Reform) Jews in the United States wag their fingers at the Arabs in the Middle East (be they terrorists or no) when they verbally spit on the Israeli Jews. They shake their heads sadly when those same people blow themselves up to kill innocents in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv (to give an example), but they make no attempt to stop it from happening again.

They seem to think that talking will solve the problem. As has been said many times before, ignorance is bliss. When dealing with fanatics, there is no benefit to speech because they will not listen. Say whatever you like. They have no desire to stop killing anyone who is not part of their ‘group’. That even means other Arabs, in some cases.

With the Israelis, however, they are dealing with an entirely different animal. The Israelis are far more a danger to them than they realize, because they will have no qualms, if it becomes necessary, in turning the rest of the Middle East into a sheet of glass on the Earth. They will give the Arabs what for, and then some.

Now, however, in some sense, they have another enemy to deal with – a verbal enemy. A hypocritical enemy… one that thinks it has the best interests of Israel in mind. And no, I’m not referring to the United States. I’m referring to the (ignorant) Jews of the United States who choose to ignore the blatant hatred of these (ultimate) anti-Semites.

I understand the desire for peace. That want is in many of us – a desire to have our families live in a world of safety. Unfortunately, that will (likely) never happen as long as the people of the United States, Jewish and otherwise, stand divided.

Once, the United States stood as (undoubtedly) the strongest nation on this Earth. We stood against the blitzkrieg of the Nazis, and after that, the might of the Soviet Union. Our nation had such strength, indeed, that we stood and watched as the Soviet Union fell, and the nations that were part of it began their ‘first steps’ toward freedom.

We stood by the Israelis through the first days after the Founding Day, and we watched with pride (both the Jews and Non-Jews) as Israel beat back the Egyptians, Syrians, Jordanians as well as their numerous allies. It is an event referred to by the Arabs as ‘an-Naksah’ (The Setback). Countless soldiers pounded against the ‘walls’ of the Israeli Defence Force, and the IDF was able to throw them back. One small nation against many, and yet they stood strong.

Since then, on multiple occasions, the nations of the Arab Middle East have supported attacks against Israel, and for a long time, the United States, even as it attempted to promote peace, still stood beside the Israelis, condemning the behavior of those it defended itself against.

Now, however, the situation has changed. The United States, under a more ‘liberal’ government front, wants to force Israel to give a nation to a people who only exist (the Palestinians) because the British needed a border against the Arab nations. As the Palestinians (once the PLO, although I doubt its ‘former members’ have given up the fight) continue to spit on Israel, we do nothing as they kill innocent Israelis and we would condemn any actions taken by the Israelis to stop the violence.

But I turn to another (related) subject. The behavior of the people of the United States in this matter and otherwise related matters. Unlike what the U.N. (and the Liberals of the United States, Democrat and otherwise) would have us believe, support for our nation (as well as its associate nations) is not something that comes and goes in fleeting moments (depending on the political ‘need’), but something we should feel with our minds, hearts and souls. Some of us have no idea of just how blessed we are to live in a country that gives us the freedoms we have. None at all.

For example, we can speak against our government without fear of being taken from our homes by its agents (and harmed, despite what the wild-eyed Leftist extremes would have you believe) or censored. Yet we are preparing to put a man in to the highest office in our country who would take away our right to speak out if our views disagree with theirs.

And one of those views is our belief that Israel has the right to stand against the Arabs. We believe they should ‘come to the table’, as it were, and make concessions to the Arabs… but I will say once again what I have said before… the Arabs will accept nothing less than the utter obliteration of the nation of Israel, and the death of every supporter.

With what is happening now, however, I will say this. I must agree with Joe McCain’s statements of 2002. If we reach the point that a new Holocaust faces Israel, the people of that mighty nation will do whatever is necessary to ensure their survival, regardless of whether the U.N., the United States and any other major powers on this Earth think of their actions. There will be no moderation, this time. Once, the Jews beat back the Arabs, and let them live.

Should it become necessary to take such action again, this time the Middle East will find out precisely what the Jews are capable of, because the Jews will not fall without a fight, not ever again, no matter the price.

What it means to be a Jew...

That is a very important phrase.  I know it doesn't sound like much, but I have seen it used many times in the past while I was in (religious) school, and when I look back at that now, I realize that a sizable portion, if not (almost) all of the people who were using it did not know the first thing of how important those words were.  Not at all.

Jews have been wandering this Earth for a very, very long time.  We have been chased from place to place, since the destruction of our Second Temple.  We have been treated as the (ultimate) outcast by many, and we were used as a scapegoat for many hardships.  Jews died as responsible for plagues, as someone to blame for the lack of food (or jobs), and sometimes simply because they were different.

But throughout it all we have prevailed.  We have stood, even when we have lost our dignity.  I can say (Adonai be thanked!) that so far in my life I have not been a victim of the terrible horrors of
anti-Semitism, but I have seen so many stories.  Every time I saw them, I shook my head and closed my eyes, mourning the harm that a difference in theology (and ethnic background) could cause.

I have myself never been to Israel, although I intend to see the Temple Mount before I die, and if I am lucky, the rest of that beautiful city (and nation surrounding it) that all the Jews on this world can call home, if they choose.

We have a new president in the White House of Washington D.C. as of yesterday, and based on the attitudes of the people he associates with, it could be seen as quite obvious what his attitudes toward not only the Jews (who, at least in the Reform sect, voted for him likely in an extraordinary majority) but Israel will be.  The Jews (in all number) are once again in danger as a culture and a people both inside Israel and out (in nations such as the United States).  Once again we must stand together in solidarity, strong and united.

But I believe that some of us have forgotten what that means.  Matisyahu (a Reggae artist, Jewish...) said it well in the song 'Jerusalem'  "The gas tried to choke but it couldn't choke me..."  That says it all right there.  We have seen infinite kinds of hell as a people, and always we have surpassed them.  From the savages of our infinite past to the savages of the nineteenth, twentieth and twenty-first centuries   (as example, the Russians, the Nazis and the Middle Eastern Arabs)    we have survived, and we will continue to do so.

I will not be surprised, if anyone forwards this, if non-Jews see this.  This is addressed to you as well.  You may not be Jews (or Israelis), but you are still human beings, and as such you must understand that we will never be defeated.  Those who seek us now can attempt whatever they want.  The Jewish people, nor Jerusalem, our holy city, will ever fall again.

But now the Israelis are being encouraged to cease-fire against the Hamas (our current antagonist), a group of terrorists and monsters who have said many times before (and indeed, even in their organization's charter) that all they will accept, in the end, is the utter destruction of Israel and the death of EVERY Jew on this Earth.  Animals who during past cease-fires have continued to attack us... monsters who use children inside U.N. facilities to keep their members safe from the IDF.  Who send children (with bombs attached to them) to die for their disgusting twisting of civilization.

Judaism is a faith with age-old traditions, and the Moslems seek now to destroy us utterly.  I say let them come, because once again we will beat them back, and perhaps this time we will finally have the wisdom, despite the desires of the rest of the world, to 'finish the job'.  It may not be something we want, but unfortunately for the survival of our people it is a necessity.

So often I hear Jews in the United States speaking of 'Tikkun Olam', as they call it.  Wanting to repair the world... their naivety is absolutely horrifying to me, when seen side-by-side with the absolute lack of understanding of what is coming for us as a people.  Just like the Jews of Germany during The Holocaust   (a term many prefer not to use in today's society - "...hurtful to Germans, don'cha know..."), they believe the people of the world will see them as people of their nation first... not as Jews.

History certainly does repeat itself with frightening regularity... and this time we will not have the United States to come to rescue us, because this time they will likely be standing with our enemies... and even if they are not, I doubt they will come to our aid.  Once again, the Jews must stand on our own, be we American or Israeli, or of some other homeland... we must stand by ourselves, with Israel and with Jerusalem.  We can never forget that we are Jews, and we can never forget just what that means.

Matisyahu, I think, said it well in the song 'Jerusalem'.  "Jerusalem...  If I forget you, may my right hand forget what it's supposed to do."

Beyond Reasonable Limits...

I think I may finally take a friend's advice and stop reading the news.

I like my blood pressure at a reasonable level, and the garbage coming out of the Arabs is making it go up a little too high for my tastes.  I find myself sitting here angrier than I have been in a long time, outraged at the demands of the Iranian leader (I refuse to call that monster by the title he uses) and the statements once again made by his nation and its associates.

THE BELOW (RIGHT-JUSTIFIED) IS TAKEN FROM FOXNEWS.COM:

'''...President Obama on Tuesday, in an interview with Arabic television, called for more dialogue with Iran to express difference and see "where there are potential avenues for progress."

"...Without mentioning President Barack Obama by name, Ahmadinejad Wednesday repeatedly referred to those who want to bring "change," a word used often in Obama's election campaign, and indicated that Iran would be looking to see if there would be substantive differences in U.S. policy..."

Our (supposedly) wonderful, oh-so-loved President has called for dialogue with a nation that would, if it were possible, watch us burn, if they did not themselves light the match.  That is frightening, no?  According to a lot of people in this country, it isn't anything to be concerned about...  my fears are an overreaction, they would say, to prejudices put forward by the ideas of past administrations.

The Americans who have suffered at the hands of the Middle East (and its Moslem societies) are not a prejudice of any kind.  They were hurt terribly, if they were not killed, but to our current administration that does not mean a thing, apparently.  Our President spoke of "... potential avenues for progress.'  What areas of progress are there with a nation that has threatened us (and our 'allies', although under this man I wonder if they will remain as such...) with the potential of nuclear devices?  I believe there are none, as I know you do as well.

As in the last essay I wrote (and shared with so many of you), I speak once again with something that many would call a bias against the Arabs (and the Moslems).  I am a Jew.  An American Jew, but a Jew nonetheless, and that is not something that the Moslems of the Middle East are willing to accept.  Jews anywhere are an abomination... even if most of those in the United States are heartless, gutless fools who will never stand their ground against the peoples of the Middle East.

They say things that would have made (many of) our grandparents (and their parents before them) want to throw up.  Nauseating...

THE BELOW (RIGHT-JUSTIFIED) IS TAKEN FROM FOXNEWS.COM:

"...The Holocaust is a concept coming from a big lie in order to settle a rootless regime in the heart of the Islamic world," Gholam Hossein Elham told a conference on Gaza in central Iran's religious city of Qom..."

"...In September last year a group of Iranian Islamist students unveiled a book mocking the Holocaust and filled with anti-Semitic stereotypes and revisionist arguments.

The United Nations designated January 27 as international Holocaust memorial day in 2005, marking the date Soviet troops liberated the largest Nazi death camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau, in Poland..."

The UN did something 'nice' with that gesture... but what difference does it make when they do not stand up for it?  The Iranians have done something that blasphemes against everything that decent, caring people believe in - made the lives of more than ELEVEN MILLION PEOPLE (Six million of whom were Jews) ABSOLUTELY MEANINGLESS.  It would seem that the U.N. has said nothing about this, as of yet, and frankly I doubt they will.

Perhaps my sarcasm is unfair.  Frankly, I really don't care either way, though.  The U.N. has turned in to a bunch of anti-Semetic (and often politically liberal) idiots who are so busy wagging their fingers at Israel for defending itself that they ignore what is happening in the rest of the Middle East.  Making a 'Holocaust memorial day', international or otherwise, is a token gesture on their part, and it was likely done just so they could say, "... See!  We support the Jews!  We stand behind them and we mourn their loss!..."

What a joke.  If I could laugh at how pathetic and hollow they (and their gestures) are, I would... but I can't.

Sometimes, when I wake up in the morning, I find myself wondering if the news isn't going to tell me that Israel isn't there anymore, or that the Israelis have finally dealt with the Arabs, and that the United States has turned their back on the home of the Jewish people.  Under the man we are now calling our President, with his desire to appease the Iranians, it really would not surprise me.

I said to my father once that depending on what happened with our new President, that I would be making ready to exercise the 'Right of Return' (given to all Jews by our ancestry) and leave the United States for Israel.  When asked why (I do not remember if it was by Dad or someone else), I gave the answer I would give if asked now:  Because I would rather be where I know who my enemies are, and I can face them head-on, rather than having to wait for them.

9/11 was, when it happened, to the people of the United States, a very important matter.  Men like Barack Obama supported our stance on it primarily because they were standing with the desires of the people of our nation (Jewish and otherwise) to have 'revenge' on the al-Quaeda.  As long as 'patriotism' was the 'in-word', the Liberals were happy to stand by it.  Now, however, it has fallen from the light, and it is no longer useful in their efforts, so they have thrown it away like so much paper, useless now, but ready to be recycled when they have need for its benefits again.

The (Reform) Jews were the same thing, for Barack Obama.  Something to be used, then placed on the pile to be reused when once again needed.  I would say, though, that he has shown his true feelings toward the Jews in the United States of America in his behavior toward the Iranians.  The Iranians support the desires of Hamas, including the complete obliteration of Israel and the Jews.  Many Jews in this country still do not understand that, however... they are thinking in a way that the German Jews did before the Nazis came for them, except in this case, it goes more like this:

'We are ...good Americans first, good Obama supporters first... the fact that we are Jews doesn't matter as long as we stand with him.'

I would say that they are forgetting something very important, though.  Something well put in a statement made by a (liberal) politician some time back.  He said he was "...a Democrat first, an American second, and a Jew third..."

It is reported that Henry Kissinger once made a similar statement to Golda Meir (Israeli Prime Minster from 1969 to 1974). Her response was to say to him, “Henry, unfortunately, the people we deal with from read right to left.”

As to the aforementioned politician, my Father wrote a statement to him in an e-mail I find it appropriate to repeat (here):

"When they come for you, Sir, you'll be a Jew first."
